American photographer Michael Massaia
created an unusual series of photographs displaying melted ice cream.
The series is even more unusual considering the fact that the author
worked before only with black and white photography.
In Massaia’s photographs, ice cream melts forming some kind of
abstract surreal shapes. Despite the abstractness, most of the images
can be easily identified as characters from popular cartoons and comics.
