After the earlier Lytro Camera, equipped with technology that revolutionized digital cameras, Lytro is now back with the Illum;
an innovative camera, again based on the light-field camera technology.
The Illum is aimed at professional photographers and has an 8x optical
zoom, maximum aperture of F/2.0 and can capture up to 1/4000 of a
second. The innovation lies, however, in the light sensors and tight
DSLR-like body, and as the original Lytro, the Illum makes focusing an
afterthought, allowing you to make unprecedented adjustments in
postproduction, such as adjusting focus, tilt, perspective, and depth of
