On the Santos beach, in the South African town of Mossel Bay you can find an unusual cheap hostel built inside a train.
All the cars are placed on the old railway track, and the distance from the sea is less than thirty meters. In fact, all seven cars represent some sort of a standard passenger train. Four of them offer traditional services, with 32 beds, two toilets and a shower. As any other hostel. The fifth car has 16 beds. Two in each compartment. It also has a toilet, a shower and a private kitchen. Another two cars offer four compartments with two beds and a bathroom. In addition to all that, the train has a restaurant car.
